I was happy to find that Dan is a very approachable guy, who would talk the metal off a microphone.

It's great to see, especially from a celebrity who's been in some pretty big and ground-breaking projects like "Ghostbusters" and the beginning of "Saturday Night Live".

I've had the privledge to interview and hang out with some pretty big stars and I find , the ones that we're only famous for one thing or for a very short time, were the most difficult ones.

There was even one celebrity who became huge from one TV series she was in, but refused to talk about it because she thought it wasn't relevant.

I found that odd, since it was the show that put her in the position she was in. I'd love to tell you her name, but I might get in trouble. Regardless, she never really starred in anything else after the series and she drifted off into oblivion.

For the most part, celebs are quite grateful of their status and like to talk to the fans that put them there, like Dan Ackroyd.

I like to think, too, that Dan Ackroyd being Canadian gives him that modesty.

The next time I see Dan Ackroyd on TV or the big screen, I'll know he's a good guy.
