Canucks Pound Leafs 6-1
Jan, 13 2007 - 10:30 PM

TORONTO - Daniel Sedin had a goal and three assists and the Vancouver Canucks pounded the Toronto Maple Leafs 6-1.
Roberto Luongo, the starting goalie for the Western Conference all-star team, kept Vancouver in the game early, and finished with 35 saves.
Markus Naslund, Mattias Ohlund, Sami Salo, Taylor Pyatt and Trevor Linden also scored for the Canucks, who got their first five goals on the power play.
Bates Battaglia scored for the Maple Leafs.
Daniel Sedin gave the Canucks a 2-1 lead 39 seconds into the second period.
The back-breaker came 4:39 into the third period when Linden made it 3-1 while the Canucks were on a 5-on-3 power play.
Thirteen seconds later, and Vancouver still on the power play, Pyatt broke in alone and beat Andrew Raycroft and it was lights out for the Leafs at 4-1.
