ALBERTA/630 CHED - A man convicted in the stabbing death of a Calgary teen has been deported to El Salvador after serving his sentence. The 23-year-old was sent back to his native country after an attempt at a stay-of-removal failed last week.
The man served a five-year sentence for manslaughter after smashing a liquor bottle over 17-year-old Clayton McGloan's head at a Halloween party in 1998.
His older brother then stabbed McGloan and is currently serving a prison term for second-degree murder.
