EDMONTON - A city court has heard about a teenager's frazzled state of mind the night her friend was raped and bludgeoned to death at an Edmonton-area golf course.
   
The 19-year-old is being cross-examined at the trial of Joseph Laboucan and Michael Briscoe, who are charged with first-degree murder in the April 2005 death of Nina Courtepatte.
   
The girl says she hit Nina and helped hold her down because Laboucan -- her former boyfriend -- forced her.
   
The witness says she wasn't jealous that Nina had been kissing him earlier in the evening and testified that she "wasn't thinking anything." (BN, ccg)
