Alberta Liquor distributor to hold back on increases

EDMONTON/630 CHED - The Alberta Liquor and Gaming Commission Board has intervened on Connect Logistics planned rate hikes for February.
Based on feedback from industry streak holders, the company that provides liquor warehousing and distribution for Alberta has been requested to only pass increased costs on storage and transportation.
This will mean higher prices for some products like a 40 cent increase per dozen bottled imported beers.
A decision on other rate increases will be made in March.
