Drayton Valley R.C.M.P. bust suspected crack-dealer

- A suspected crack-dealer from Edmonton now has a date in court after officers from Drayton Valley raided a trailer, Saturday morning.
R.C.M.P. say on February 3rd they found over 3 ½ ounces of crack cocaine while executing a search warrant at the Poplar Ridge Trailer Court.
They also picked-up some drug trafficking paraphernalia, such as plastic baggies and a digital scale.
Police say, if sold one gram at a time, the drugs would be worth about $8000 dollars on the street.
27-year-old Mario Orlando Brown is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, Obstruction of a Peace Officer and
Failing to Comply with the Conditions of a Recognizance (4 counts).
Brown is due to face the judge and enter a plea tomorrow in Drayton Valley. (ccg)
